Spanish Mantillas

The Mantilla has been used in wedding ceremonies for many years. Its gracefulness has made it a preferred alternative to a standard bridal veil. Long used as a head cover for religious services, the Mantilla is also a preferred choice for First Communion ceremonies.  A Mantilla is traditionally shaped in a circular design, made of tulle, chiffon or entirely of lace. It drapes across the top of the head and falls elegantly down the back and over the shoulders. It can be a short simple light design or an elaborate cathedral length with pearls and lace scattered on the veiling. It can be designed to complement most bridal gowns.

Blooming Veils can design a custom Mantilla for your special day, or you can choose from our large selection of unique designs. Our Mantillas are available in white, diamond white, ivory and black. Color can be added to it, too. The standard length is approximately 34 inches, but you can order them in any length that you need. Each Mantilla is attached to a 4 inch comb. Bobby pin loops can also be added for brides with thick hair for extra support. Additional options: A blusher can be attached with velcro to any Mantilla.
